A solid foundation

Torema Australia Pty Ltd was founded in 1989 for the purpose of manufacturing toroidal isolation transformers.  Today, Torema is the largest manufacturer of toroidal products in Australia, and prides itself on being able to deliver complete solutions for its customers.

Torema's first class mechanical engineering abilities, together with over 15 years' experience in the design and manufacture of toroidal isolation transformers, have enabled it to develop strong relationships with its customers. • Torema has a longstanding relationship with testing authorities in both Australia and New Zealand. This ensures that all products
• manufactured by Torema comply with current electrical safety standards for a variety of applications.  On behalf of its customers,
• Torema has also worked with various testing authorities to assist those customers in obtaining approval of their products.

Superior technology

Torema has developed the mechanical side of its business to the extent where it now has the following machining centres:

• 1 CNC machining centre
• 2 CNC turning centres
• 2 CNC milling machines and
• 1 CNC EDM wire cutting machine. 

These machining centres enable Torema to manufacture (in addition to isolation transformers) hundreds of different parts for its customers, including battery thimbles, forklift attachments, carbon brush holders and conduit entry glands.
